1)
Click this paid-link. A Payment Window will appear.
The first time you pay for content with iCents, you will need to sign in to the payment system you prefer. Internet users can pay via the online payment systems that they already use, such as PayPal, Amazon Payments, Google Checkout, Twitter Payments, Facebook payments, mobile payments and so on.
2)
Select whichever payment system you prefer by clicking one of the "Sign in" buttons.
If you chose PayPal, for example, a PayPal page will open to let you sign in.
3)
Since this is just a demo, you may type any random combination of letters as your login/email and password.
After you sign in, a yellow button will appear on the Payment Window, indicating your account.
iCents will then keep you signed in on this computer, even when you go to other websites.
Note: You will never be required to provide the login or password of your PayPal account (or other account) directly to iCents or to the website you are in. Also, your PayPal login and password are never saved on your computer when you sign in. This guarantees your security.
Usually, when you erase cookies or end the browser session you will be signed out automatically from your payment system.
But if you want, you can ask iCents to keep you signed in even after you end the browser session or erase cookies, so that you never have to sign in again: First click the "Settings" button to open the Settings screen, and then choose the "I'm at home" option.
Whether you're at home or using a shared computer, you may sign out at any time, by clicking the "sign out" button.
In the Payment Window, try changing your country to France. You will see that all displayed prices will
now be converted to Euros. iCents can display prices in more than 150 currencies.
Accordingly, when an American user visits a French, Dutch or German website, he or she will always
see the prices in US dollars.
If you want, you can sign in to up to 10 accounts at the same time on your computer. For example, you can have two or more PayPal accounts, or a PayPal account and a Google Checkout account at the same time.
Note: To display the "Sign In" buttons again after signing in to the first account, you may have to click the green arrow in the Payment Window.
When you sign in to multiple accounts at the same time, the last one you signed into will appear at the top. The account at the top is always the one in use. You can change which account is at the top by simply clicking the signed in account you want.
Each account you sign in will display a separate "Sign out" button, so that you can sign out selectively. You can also sign in to these accounts again, whenever you want, on your own or other computers.
